(from 1963 to 1965, players were awarded two points for each home win and
three, for each away win, the prize being awarded to the player with
the highest total at the end of the season.)
In 1963 this was known as the 'Reserve Division', and became the 'A
-Reserve Division' when it was split into two divisions in 1964.
It was subsequently named 'C - Division' in 1967 which it has been called up to
the present day.
From 2010 onwards the prize has been given to the player with the best
'Points Difference' (Points for - Points against) subject to the player
missing no more than four of the maximum games possible, in 2024 this was
changed to no more than two of the maximum games possible
